PegaWORLD 2015 kicks off next week on June 7th, and ATS is excited to attend again this year. We have been looking ahead and marking our calendars for must-see events. Here are some of the keynote speakers we are especially interested to hear at this year’s event.
The ever popular face of Pegasystems, Founder & CEO, Alan Trefler will not only repeat his 2014 chess tournament on Sunday afternoon, but he will open the conference with a keynote speech again. This year’s focus is “CRM Evolved.” It is sure to bring insight into Pega’s future-facing, trend-setting, and flexible approach to CRM.
Also on Monday’s “must-see” list is Dr. Mark Boxer, Executive VP & Global CIO for Cigna Healthcare. ATS has a special interest in healthcare applications using Pega since several of our clients (CareFirst, CVS/Caremark, Medco, TMG Health, and Veteran Affairs) are centered in healthcare services. Dr. Boxer is sure to shed light on the healthcare industry’s digital revolution in his keynote speech, “Engaging the New Healthcare Consumer in a Digital World.”
Possibly the most interesting keynote for the whole event is the one presented by our client, Jim Smith, CIO from the State of Maine (pictured right). With Pega’s Don Scheurman and Amazon Web Services’ Brian Matsubara, they will present a keynote entitled, “The Cloud: Enabling Strategic Applications.” The theme of evolution will continue with this discussion about “delivering strategic applications [which} also means you must have the reach, resiliency, and resources to make it happen.” We hope Mr. Smith will also mention the success ATS has had at the State of Maine. Fingers crossed!
On Tuesday, we plan on listening to the keynote by Brian Solis, Principle Analyst with Altimeter Group. His keynote, “The Moment of Truth: Connected Customers and How to Supercharge Customer Experiences” is sure to shed new light on the ever-evolving challenge of how to best provide customer service by anticipating instead of reacting to shifts in the customer service industry.
“The Always On Customer Brain,” is another Tuesday keynote we are looking forward to hearing. Christian “The Data Guy” Neilssen, from RBS, and Dr. Rob Walker, Pega’s VP of Decision Management and Analytics, will explain how the smart use of the evolved CRM can utilize Big Data to analyze, learn, and adapt to the changing world of customer service across multiple channels using the Customer Decision Hub.
Pega World is always an eye-opening event that inspires us to redouble our commitment to providing excellence in service to our clients who use Pega. With keynotes like these, not to mention at least a dozen interesting breakout sessions, this conference promises to meet our expectations again this year.
